18 June 2010: Music from the Volcanic Lands

Volcano Mural - ©Scott Allan StevensIn April, it was the volcano in Iceland. In May, we observed the 30th anniversary of our own Mount Saint Helens (KAOS was within the ashfall radius of that one!). So on this day in June, Spin The Globe played music from some of the most volcanically active spots on earth. Plus some new releases, a tribute to Busi Mhlango (who passed on a few days ago), and some musical inspiration for Algeria, who ran with it and held England goalless in a remarkable (if lackluster) result today.
